Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 until Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a small community which is situated in the West Island, which is part of Montreal's island. In reality, the West Island, to those who don't know about it, is a vast region that runs from Lachine all the way west. Amanda Brugel was born there and her time was not long in the city. Brugel lived in Courtice in the vicinity of Oshawa Ontario. Her first ambition was to become a dancer, but the rapid growth of her body led to she was able to outgrow the dancers she was with. In an article published by Toronto Star, she revealed that, in her heels, she stood 6 feet 1 inch tall. When I outgrew my male friends, I quit. In the case of Brugel, it was her encouragement from an instructor in drama from her high school which inspired her to start acting. The teacher who suggested she go after a role in the school's annual production. The teacher who suggested she pursue a role in the school's annual play. The show was a recipient of the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship to go to York University's Theatre Program which she completed from the program in 2000, earning a Bachelor in Fine Arts. Over the past 20 years the career of Brugel has seen her perform in more than 60 movies and TV productions. The role she was most famous for was Rita (shown here) on The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel is the only Canadian for the season 1 cast of the show and seen only occasionally, was the only Canadian.
