Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is a British-American sitar player and music artist. She won the British House of Commons' Shield, which is the youngest and the first female to receive it. In addition to receiving nine Grammy nominations She was also the first Indian-born musician to perform during the ceremony live. Anoushka is the rising star in Indian sitar. She is the student and sister of Ravi Shankar. Born in 1982, she was raised in London. Her early years were spent in London and New Delhi.
